Drudi Alexiou Kuchar LLP began in 1993 when the founding partners recognized the need for a litigation boutique that specialized in being advocates appearing before courts and tribunals across the province. For the last 3 decades, our firm has assisted thousands of clients resolve disputes through all means whether that be via negotiation, arbitration, mediation, trial and appeals.

Practice Areas
Construction
Our firm acts for all the players on a construction project from subtrades, suppliers, general contractors, owners and lenders. We focus on dispute resolution and seek to utilize the most appropriate process whether that be Interim Adjudication, Mediation, Arbitration or Litigation.
Commercial
We will provide a preliminary opinion on what your legal rights and obligations are regarding a contractual dispute. Once a party understands what their legal rights and obligations are, our firm will then focus on either resolving the dispute or have it judicially determined where we will focus on the issues of repudiation, damages and causation.
Property law can be divided into personal property and real property each of which has its own jurisprudence that evolved over hundreds of years. We assist clients with real property disputes acting for vendors, purchasers, mortgagees, title insurers and real estate brokerages. Regarding personal property, we assist clients when necessary to obtain injunctive relief to protect or preserve personal property and enforce security rights offered by the P.P.S.A.

Estate
Our firm will provide strategic advice on estate litigation issues such as beneficiary claims, will challenges, and capacity assessments. Our firm focuses on the client’s needs with respect to these important issues and aims to ensure that these disputes are resolved in the
most efficient manner possible. Where court proceedings are necessary, our firm has extensive experience in assisting clients with proceedings in estate litigation matters.
Mortgage
Our firm acts for both mortgagees and mortgagors in relation to mortgage enforcement disputes. In assisting to our clients, we will review the legal rights available each party and advise as to your obligations and available options. Our firm will assist with the enforcement process including drafting and issuing statements of claim, issuing writs of seizure and sale, and filing claims with mortgage insurers.
Our firm provides services to both employers and employees for a wide range of employment issues including, but not limited to, employment contract disputes, human rights complaints, and wrongful dismissal claims. We seek to understand the issues at hand in each dispute and assist with the most appropriate process for resolving those issues.
